At Emergy Pilates Lounge we welcome mums-to-be to our safe, fun and challenging workouts on the Reformer, stability chair, ball and Cadillac, using various props for challenge and variety.
Our pre-natal Reformer classes, privates or semi-privates, incorporate exercises that improve the overall strength of the body and flexibility of the spine, in a safe and effective way to assist in prevention of back pain and tension during this important time.
We advise that if you want to join pre-natal classes that you have already practiced Pilates prior to pregnancy.
After the arrival of baby, we are also keen to help you get back into shape and offer workouts that allow you to exercise in a gentle, yet effective way. We prefer that you wait at least three months before returning to Pilates post childbirth. You will require a clearance from your doctor.
